You must have got Something/someone to make you feel BETTER I GIVE UP SMOKING....!!
If It is not very PERSONAL and you are comfortable to share, can you share that with us please, so many of our friends, who are willing to give up SMOKING will be benefitted.

What you do to Get relief from TENSION...

Dear All,
When I go deeply upset, I do some things like:
1. Singing my favorite songs!
2. I go to a park and watch people very keenly, it makes me to forget the route cause for some time and which in turn reduces the intensity of the upsetness.
3. Chatting with very close friends, with whom I can share my problems and get some possible solutions.
4. Watching TV at last!
5. Walking….
There are many ways, by which we get relief.
Mostly they are simple things we do!
Share your SMALL things to get relief from the TENSIONS…

Hi Kamlakar,
When am stressed, I just take my car, get a full tank of petrol and hit the highway. On almost all the Highways leading out of Hyderabad, I have designated Dhabas where I am recognized. :)
It helps to unwind there. just sit and watch the truck drivers having their simple meal, some just taking rest, some talking about the road conditions. Sometimes I also engage in conversations with them. Trust me, they are a helpful lot.
Other times, I just catch up with a friend with whom I have not been in touch of late.
Sometimes, when we are stressed, its important to take a step back, regroup and then come back. You would be amazed with the intensity you have when you are back.

When I'm under stress I used to smoke a lot but fortunately I gave up that and if the tension is so unbearable what I do is relax and spend time with my close to the heart person...and it actually depends on magnitude of tension or stress and as per that my moods vary and I may watch TV to get diverted from it or sometimes I may listen music and all.
