A very good initiative Harish. Guess all the members who used to be very active, should come together again in resurrecting the our own HRLink. I am personally indebted to the site, as I came across best of people, who not only became good friends but also were and are very helpful in times through thick and thin. I was referred by Harish to the Organization in which I am presently working. Likewise there are many members who have shown and given opportunities to many. Hope the ones who got helped are in return helping others in need.

And I back the opinions and suggestions given by Diana and Harish. As well I would like to add that all the once active members should nominated to become moderators and should concentrate in clearing the spam and unwanted articles entering into the site. And contributing as well as encouraging good HR articles which can be their real life work experiences too.

Keep Smiling.
Wow.. That's great to see the good old buddies back on HRLink...:) :) :). Let's stay connected on this.
I cannot agree more Clauds. I am just indebted to this site for giving me awesome friends who are blend of sensible thinking, sensitively reacting nature and practically guiding each other and always wishing for the best of things to happen in each others' lives.

And I do keep missing all the linked activity we used to involve in. I log out of the site painfully after I fail to see any of the senior members online and available.

Miss those beautiful old days.. Just wishing to see the old magical days again :)

Good Share. Added to this, I would like to draw attention towards rise in fake candidates these days. There are 2 types of faking styles. I am sure you all know. First type: The candidate prepares a resume by faking experience. This type of candidates can be easily handled. Second type: The candidate here arranges for some proxy to attend the telephonic interview on his behalf and clears the technical rounds and appears for Personal Round where only Salary negotiations take place. This happens mostly in case of out station candidates as well candidates who are in the same city.

Because of such candidates sometimes even when the candidate is genuine and due to some genuine problem he is unable to make to Personal Interview, recruiters are forced to insist upon physical presence of the candidate. Thanks to the latest technology that these days atleast we have a choice of conducting interviews by means of Video Chat on Skype/Gtalk etc where we can see the candidate too while interviewing online.

But still one needs to be alert about such candidates. The candidates have to bear one thing in mind, by entering into an Organization by such wrong means they are wasting the precious time and resources of the Organization as well cheating oneself besides cheating the Organization.

Hello Mr.Chanakya,

I really appreciate your zeal to share your knowledge and as well your enthusiasm in posting regularly. Please don't mind but here are few suggestions for you:

1. Usage of all capitals indicates that one is either shouting or being rude to others.

2. Avoid spelling mistakes and grammatical errors while sharing your posts or views.

Please note that lot of people from student community too visit this site and they may end up learning wrong spellings or assume that expression is more important irrespective of correctness of spellings or grammar. These are already mentioned in the guidelines to be followed when posting a new topic.

Otherwise you are doing a wonderful job. I hope you would take this feedback in a positive manner.

Good Luck.

Sri Manjari .V
Thank You Neil for stressing on the correctness of usage of proper grammar and correct English. We are all learned people and when exchanging views on public sites we should see to it whatever we write is complete, correct and concise.

Sri Manjari .V
Adding to what Neil wrote, sometimes the following might also be the reasons:

1. If the candidate is expecting a huge increase in his/her compensation within short span which will sometimes leave the persons jobless for their instability.

2. Sometimes unexpected health hazards/ death of close family members or some unforeseen events.

3. Trying different jobs to determine their true interest.

Replied to "Social Intellegence" in Motivation!!
16-01-2012.
Most of us are socially intelligent but act in a biased manner. We willingly understand our loved ones or near and dear with their negative traits or idiosyncrasies. But when it comes to strangers or people in our operating environment we react in a different manner and emit negative vibes towards them and become judgmental. So being socially intelligent will only not do one needs to be unbiased towards everyone alike.

Thanks for the good post.
