Dear HR friends,



Kindly share all your thoughts and views on the below mentioned topic.



"What is the Value Addition given by the HR dept to the organisation?"



Say I'm working in a Apparel industry (HO) and mainly in to Pre and post recruitment. Other than that how can i add value to my Organisation?

Hi Janani,

You have started a nice discussion. You can put your efforts in building employee relations through interactions with them on regular basis, which will give you an insight into the pulse of the employees which will subsequently help you in retention of key resources and also for competency mapping. If you can retain a resource its definitely value addition to the organization, as it will reduce the expenses of re-hire and training of the new resource. Likewise competency mapping will provide the employees to gain insight into overall expertise in a particular stream.
