Head hunting is nothing but approaching a (exactly matching to our requirements) right candidate in my view.

Well, it is possible only through generating and build your contacts (social networks & also through job portals).

In short - Mapping the industry and the finding the competitor helps you to approach a candidate (from a particular company) with the network generated in that particular industry.
