The Professional Tax slab for Maharashtra has been revised with effect from 1st July 2009

Does not exceed 5000/- Nil
Exceed 5000/- but not 10000/- Rs. 175/- pm
Exceed 1000/- Rs. 200/- pm (except in February
Rs. 300/- pm)
