Hi,

One of my friend joined in a MNC recently. They took her for different project which has a good scope but after joining they placed her for another project which has no work at all and she has to sit idle everyday, no scope for learning too. When she asked about this to the old project manager and HR, They replied her they will take her in to some other project later. She has 2offers in hand. Should she put her papers now in this company and go ahead with other offer or should she stay back here only.

If she stays back here, learning possibilities are very less.

If she go ahead with other offer, should she inform to the New company that she worked for a company and because of less scope she resigned?

Expecting all your valuable suggestions in this case.

Best regards,

Janani

Hi Janani,

You have clearly mentioned in your discussion that if she stays back she has very less exposure. So what is she waiting for its better to resign from the current co and go ahead with new offer. But make sure if she is joining with new company ask her to clearly validate the project in which she is going to be put in.

She should discuss with the hr and old project head relating to her future prospects in the company, how the company is planning to engage her in future, when she will be put in a project, wheter the planning of the company is matching with her expectation or not, learning opportunity will be there or not etc. After getting clarity u may take a decion to stay or to quit.
