As you have mentioned that a gift ranging from Rs 3000/ to Rs 10000/ , various gifts like Mobile handset, a watch, gold ring, blazer, dress material, gift coupon for shopping etc may be given. Any one of the gifts may be decided by lottery in the presence of all other employees of the department/ workplace which will very very interesting and motivating for the employee who has reffered and all other employees who are present during lottery.

She should discuss with the hr and old project head relating to her future prospects in the company, how the company is planning to engage her in future, when she will be put in a project, wheter the planning of the company is matching with her expectation or not, learning opportunity will be there or not etc. After getting clarity u may take a decion to stay or to quit.
