Dear Swapna

Greetings

There is no specific policies talking about permissions, its all depends upon the individual company policy.

whenever there is a permission request from an employee, 1st he needs to send it to the concerned reporting person and get it approved and that reporting authority should forward the same to the HR Dept, stating ( whatever the reason for what he is requesting for permission) and whether that specific hours will be compensated by him on the other saturday or some OT can be done.

Generally this is how it goes.

If am wrong or missed out something , thing our other members will help in more breify....

Regards

Thanks for your views Shri , but there should be some limit for the permissions. Frequent permissions cannot be allowed. And your suggestion was good. Permissions to be compensated on Saturdays. How many permissions can be allowed for an employee.

Hi Swapana

A permission can be maximum for 2 hrs and maximum one permission per month is allowed. More than that can be compensated by working on saturday or it can be adjusted towards leave.

Hi Swapna,

Regarding the permission it can be 2 hours permission (twice in a month).

Approved by reporting authority and forwarded to HR.

If the hours exceeds it can be taken into LOP.

No other specific policy for permission.

Hi Swapna,

The permission time limit for an employee is 2hrs per month and if the time exceeds it is considers as half day leave.
