HR in most of the organizations just try to dance to the tune of the higher ups instead of understanding their real role as the mediators, conciliators and mentors in between the management and their human resources. They need to treat their employees not merely as simple part of Human Resources, BUT as "HUMAN CAPITAL," which creates productivity for the organization.

Yes strongly feel he is right. Unless HR people realize this and act, it appears as they are for Waste of Money.

Hi
This is only your point of view, and you know the value of a HR person when you don't have one in place, if that is the case you might say even your Admin guys are also waste of money. Remember unless all these people working behind the scenes none of the Software development guys will be able to do their work peacefully.
