Does the payslip contain P.F contribution of both employer and employee.

If only employee contribution is shown in payslip. How will the employee know that the employer is even contributing for P.F

Stuck in confusion.

Please guide

Hi,

Generally the offer letter contains the employer contribution amount. The payslip only mentions our earnings n deductions.

Dear Saujanya,

The objective of salary slip is to give information of all monthly earnings and deductions of employee.

Employer contribution in pf is the part of total CTC of employee. It is a compulsory to contribute from employer's end which shall be there if even you don't write in salary slip. Employer's contribution is not earned on monthly basis, so it is not shown in salary sheet.
If employees wants to see the contribution they can ask for form 3A.

Thanks
Rashee

In General in appointment letter there is clause that " You will be entitled for PF Deduction as per the govt. norms and rules time to time' so the clause it self tells to refer the Govt's PF rules which says the % of employee and % of Employer to be deposited in PF Account by the organization.

In Payslip only deduction from employee is showed, to confirm this it is showing PF No followed with Organization's PF Registration no. also, which is a reference to check the Employers deduction is included or not.

Hope this is clear,

Suraj Kumar Biswal
