The incumbent would take overall responsibility for HR Operations & Development of staff

Formulation and implementation of HR Policies. Plan, Design and introduce HR Interventions

Talent Planning, Managing and Development

Internal Consultant - Contribute to the development of the School`s corporate strategy, particularly by advising on the human resource implications of strategic decisions.

HR Strategy - Develop and maintain appropriate and effective human capital strategies and ensure that these are communicated and implemented throughout the School which supports corporate objectives.

Recruitment - Develop and maintain all necessary manpower planning, recruitment and selection procedures to ensure that the School has staff of the right caliber to enable it to meet its staffing needs.

Compensation - Develop and maintain a comprehensive compensation strategy and appropriate terms and conditions of employment to ensure that the school is able to attract, retain and motivate staff.

PMS – Actively seek delivery of High performance of Staff through individual performance target setting, review the performance and provide feedback to enable the staff to excel in their level of contributions.

T&D - Develop and maintain all necessary training policies and procedures to ensure that all staff are trained and developed to the standards required.

Statutory - Maintain an awareness of the requirements of employment legislation to ensure that the School complies with all legal requirements and to provide sound advice to management.

ER - Encourage and maintain sound employee relations by undertaking all necessary initiatives.

Staff Policy & Employee Communication - Develop and implement all necessary policies and procedures to promote effective communication between management and staff and to encourage harmonious employee relations

MIS - Develop and maintain all necessary HR procedures and information systems to ensure that the School has all the information required for effective resource planning and management and regulatory compliance.

HR Team - Direct and control the staff of the HR department to ensure they undertake their responsibilities effectively to deliver the desired results.

HR Budget - Develop and monitor the HR budget to ensure that HR services are provided at the appropriate level consistent with the attainment of the School`s corporate objectives.

Change Management - Develop and implement an action plan for managing and achieving changes that will support the organisation’s core objectives.

Management of Stake holders - Develop close working relationships with other key functions in the School to ensure that there is a coordinated approach to organisational change.

The successful candidate for this position will provide overall leadership in sustaining Human Resources (HR) as a critical factor in achieving the goals and mission of the School. The person who fills this position will be responsible for providing the transformational Vision and Energy to help improve HR programmes and effectiveness for Staff.

Ability to develop HR strategy

Extensive management experience

Leadership skills

Proficient in MS-Office (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint)

SAP HR knowledge

The candidate must be Post Graduate / MBA in Human Resource from a top tier management institution like XLRI, TISS, and SIBM etc., with HR generalist experience

A clear understanding and knowledge on all HR activities, processes and interventions.
