HR is a wide subject. It is not just practically possible for everyone to know everything on this subject. Many of us, though being experienced HR professionals sometimes do get to read very informative articles, many a times for the first time through some of the posts here. We all gain knowledge through sharing / reading / knowing / debating about some information - be it old or new, original or copied.
To impose a strict restriction to post only original articles might act as a drain to everyone's knowledge acquisition. This community consists of freshers and experienced HR folks which is the biggest strength of this community.
My suggestion to handle this issue would be - at the time of posting - there should be a mandatory option for a person to classify the post as an original or a copied post. I guess, HR folks are more matured to be true to their ownselves and handle this classification diligently and hence this does not require any monitoring from the moderator's end. When the article gets posted, it should be displayed with a different identification mark / color to differentiate between an original article and a copied one.
There are 2 angles to this thought process now :
1. The reader now has the benefit of choosing to read only original articles and ignore copied ones or vice versa or all.
2. The person posting copied articles frequently will also feel bad at a particular time to find many copied articles being posted by him / her. This would result in complete stoppage of posting copied articles or would help the person to start working on an orginal article.

That's a great lesson ! Nice post, keep it up !
Hi Sowmya,
Firstly accepting that you dont know anything other than recruitment is a great virtue which comes out of an open mind.
With this open mind, now attempt to spend some time with the HR colleagues in your present company and learn about their what they are handling, like back end HR operations, C & B, payroll processing, statutory compliances, employee engagement activities, etc.
As you get some basic knowledge of these concepts, do your bit of reading either from books or articles on the net to know more about them. This way, your acquired knowledge gets deeper and sharper. By doing this, you may find your interest in some specific areas more than the others.
This is a tested and tried out method.......u too can try it out. Ultimately, ur career is ur business. Do take good care to nurture it the way u want.
