Its good that you have involves so much in the topic, explaining abot greviances etc.. but let me clarify one thing the policies what you have discussed are bookish & becoming outdated these days. Coz the greviances are not one & the same as it used to be earlier.

If not anything atleast you must be knowing this sentence " Human Resource is the best asset for any organization". If the companies are not concerned abt the best talent sure they are not going to sustain any further.

Lets take the case of Wellsforgo which is considered as one of the "Good to Great" [ One of the Best Sellers ] companies in the research of Jim Collins. They recruited people even when there was no position which existed. They had only one thing in mind "Get the right people in the bus & wrong people off the bus". Coz they knw right ppl need not be controlled or monitored much they are self deciplined & achivement oriented.Thats the reason they could outperform the general market by 43 times when other suffered due to crisis.

If an organization thinks only abt financial objective & keeps sacking even the best talent then I think the company is in the last days of its existance.

Every employee's needs & greviances are to be addressed, only then they feel responsible. Thats what is Coaching,Councelling & Mentoring all about.

Because its not the financial strength of a company which takes it higher its the Manpower which makes it last for long.

If thats the case then why we need Human Resource Department at all or Human Resource Development. Why ppl speak abt motivation & development.There is something called Ethical behaviour & Emotional Intelligence rt.

Think abt it, definitely u'll do well in Human Resources.
