I agree with you. I have faced this question and its the only question which bothers the MOST!!

I always think...how is an answer to it going to help the employers in selection of a candidate??

A candidate may answer to it honestly or may even lie...

Yes, I do agree if it is only out of curiosity that such a question is asked....but if it is asked for judging a person's chances of surviving in an organisation...then i really don't agree with it.

When a candidate DECIDES to leave an organisation, he leaves..no matter how hard an employer tries to retain him.
