Hello Nehal,

A very nice question to pose!!!! and hard to answer, Efficiency just doesn't come through rolls it comes through the motivation in people and their commitment towards the industry, its been obvious that there is a glass ceiling exists between on rolls and off rolls employees but its time for a change for the many corporates.

In the times of Globalization and Outsourcing it is important that the vendor management(Third party) should be done efficiently and the employees must also be treated in equal with the mother company!

Lets hope for the best!!!! and it is "we' who should bring about this change to happen!!!!

Hello Nehal,

A very nice question to pose!!!! and hard to answer, Efficiency just doe... See Sumana's complete reply

Thanks Sumana, I do believe we need to bring in the change....although it is a subjective issue, how efficient one gets on 3rd party rolls depends a lot on the reporting Head's efficiency and capability in giving necessary training and direction....

Nehal,

Thank you for bringing up this topic.

- People working for third party rolls are efficient - rather this is an efficient way of cost cuts - low price or cost effective ways of getting work done

Outsourcing allows its practitioners to reduce overhead expenditures, increase speed, flexibility and response times, and improve organizational efficiencies.

Regards,
Harsh
