Why most of the MNC'S or IT/ITES or Consulting Services prefer only Female candidates for the post of HR? Why don't they prefer Male candidates for the post of HR?

It's a general question I'm asking Kindly share the topic...because in recent interview i raised a topic on HR where most of the companies are preferring only female candidates for the post of HR or other HR related Jobs.....why don't they prefer male candidates?
Even in most of the IT/ITES companies or consulting companies i have seen only female candidates working on HR rather than Male candidates......
I'm not against Female but i would like to know the exact reason why companies prefer only female. Is there any Law or Rule for the companies to go ahead with only Female for the post of HR?
Except HR, 90% job are related with machine so there is no need to use feelings, but in HR job we have to dealing with human beans there is need be create familiar atmosphere (so candidate can share their feeling form work and company easily)and I think FEMALE CAN DO IT BETTER THEN MALE

No there is no any rules for that.
Even you can see in this site hrlink.com we all are in HR but there is neither majority of female nor male. Yes you are right generally in HR consultant firm we can see more female candidate but it is coincident. Nothing more.
Still I am waiting for others focus on this topic.

i think that HR includes more male candidates than females nowadays.Males are a success in HR specially in a manufacturing concern coz they have to deal with all the levels of workforce,of which males are more trusted for.
Female candidates can do a better office jobs,creativity in making policies,documentation(which is major part of HR),THUS FEMALES are trusted more in this area.
So,to develop this notion that females are more considered is totally wrong.
