Hi All,

In response to Tamilnadu Govt's declaration as Holiday to express grief on YS Rajasekhara Reddy's death, Can you tell me whether are you declaring it as Holiday tomorrow (4th September 2009) in your companies? If so, are you making it as Compensatory working day in other days?

I request everyone to respond to this as this will be of benefit to the fellow HRians.

Hello Raghav,

We, in our company, have not gotten any news on the leave on 4th September.
Have to wait and see till the end of the day.

However, it is indeed a grief moment of such a tragic end.

Need to see how the HR fraternity responses...

Hey Raghav,

Our firm has not declared holiday. We are working. The office is also open and My husband's office is also open. No holiday at all.
