We Require PMO Leader for our client - Delhi



Responsibilities:



Defines and leads strategy, implementation, operational planning/excellence, establishment, execution, and evaluation of multifaceted programs. Works with business customers to understand business needs and requirements to provide recommendations and improvements to processes, projects and services. Incorporates industry best practices, conducts internal and external benchmarking, and enforces standards, key measures and ethics. Integrates and aligns with other processes and solutions. Supports executive decision-making, reports program and implementation status, identifies skill gaps and initiates activities to close the gaps. Measures and tracks performance: leads teams to enhance performance and achieve targets and identified opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness



· Provides leadership and mentoring support to project managers and other program personnel.



· Develops and manages program plan including financial, deliverables, resources, change program and control plan.



· Develop project pipeline and manage project portfolio in competency area to achieve strategic goals and current-year productivity targets



· Identify business and IT trends/drivers and define potential impact and change requirements on the program/projects



· Manages clusters of projects or work to support an entire process or initiative. Delivers results that are aligned to strategic initiatives.



· Deploy Six Sigma, PMO/PMI to ensure disciplines and consistency of project methodology apply for maximum result







· Manages programs through initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and follow IT program management methodology



· Works with Project Managers or Workstream leaders to manage resource allocation and project budget throughout the life of a program



· Ensures project related deliverables meet specifications, are approved by Project Sponsor and other stakeholders, and are maintained in the central repository



· Measures and communicates progress toward goals and works with appropriate parties to determine and implement any necessary corrective actions



· Identifies issues affecting work progress in the program, raises them to program/project stakeholders using appropriate channels, and recommends solutions



· Prioritizes program/project risks, develops mitigation plans and actively monitors risks



· Works with Project/program Sponsor and IT Manager to transition project to operations; including confirming business readiness, transitioning work products to production environment, and measuring business benefits

Midrange COE Architect, Domain leaders for alignment and integration of solution and architecture planning, governance and execution.

Project Managers and COO/Site IT lead for project execution, solution implementation.

Gold Team to manage business expectation, program risk, change and communication to ensure smooth implementation of solutions.

PMO office and six sigma organization to ensure disciplines and consistency of project methodology apply for maximum result

External IT vendors / strategic partners to understand and influence trends, roadmaps, etc.









IT Career Planning: Capabilities and Skills







1. University degree in Information Technology, Science or Engineering field with ~10 years relevant experience in medium to large scale of program management, with ~15 of overall IT experience for Computing environment focus on midrange/servers across platform – Unix, Wintel, Linux, Databases – DB2, SQL, Oracles, middleware – Apache, Tomcat



2. Knowledge supporting applications environment such as SAP, Extranet and collaboration, eBusiness



3. Knowledge on emerging technology and Services – HAAS, SAAS, clouding computing



4. PMP certified Manager, prefer to have Six Sigma Greenbelt (minimum) certification, with continuing use of six-sigma analysis and solution methodology



5. Ability to do business risk / value analysis for complex program/projects proposals



6. Experience with IT Service operation and delivery management and process, vendors management



7. Experience with program management and complex project design, management and execution, including projects requiring influence beyond line organization



8. Familiar with Standard based Frameworks such as ITIL and MOF.
