Hi All,

I would like to seek a clarification from all my fellow members of HRLink. How safe it is to accept an offer without a soft or hard copy of the same? As there is a risk involved in resigning from current company. A candidate is sure to be in dangling situation. This is the second time I am coming across something like this. This time it is from a close friend.

Thanks,

Bhargavi

Hi Bhargavi,

It's not safe to put down your papers without any offer letter. It's a always a proof even if a company revokes the offer. Even though it's a close friend you need to get a formal offer letter to put down your papers. So don't take any risk by just resigning.

Regards,

Rajesh
