One of my friend is doing a research work in the area of “Performance Management in the downturn of economy”
With this regard he was trying to get varied perceptions of HRs in the industry. For this I have some questions and request you to give your valued inputs which will help him in analyzing the recent trends..
1. Does your organization follow a process of setting goals by the employees in the initial stage of the PMS cycle.
2. Does your organization have appraisals half yearly or only yearly?
3. Can you give some inputs on the design of the appraisal process at your organization.
4. How is the process of Implementation of the appraisal process?
5. Is the process automated or manual at your organization if so why?
6. How do you quantify the results of appraisals?
7. What are the different areas where the results of appraisals are applied.
8. Do you think the present process is as required or do you think it has to better? If so how?
9. According to you what are the different challenges faced by the HR in implementing this process.
