Employees who survived the recession have been the performers in the organizations. Now, when things are better by the day its again important to understand to retain and motivate talent. Money is one of the motivators however, not the only motivator.



I read an article How to retain and motivate talent in recession

1. Identifying the people you cannot afford to lose.

2. Differentiating between the great and the good.

3. Making sure you know your Xs, Ys, and Nets. As in Generation X, Y, and

the Net-gens.



How else could one be motivated, so that they are with the organisation for a long time and keep performing?
