Hello Aparana,

I guess with your question all the tasks you have done is in Recruitment cycle and you used the wrong keywords for the tasks you mentioned so thats why they doubt on your job profile.

HR Support and HR Admin this are complete different roles its doesnt come in the Recruitment Cycle.

You could have used the Word as Database Management.

Arpana it depends where you going for the interview and what is your job profile there.

if you talk about a recruiter in a broader term then every task you have mentioned comes in the responsibilities of the recruiter. I will suggest you to mention the same in your profile with HR operations name or include in your day to day responsibilities only no need to categorize them, if you going for HR cum Recruiter role then you can add it in different topic heading.

if you talk about generating reports, taking care of salary leave any such task then it comes under HR operations or support or admin but not the responsibilities you are talking about.

hope you got my point rest you can discuss any time if any further doubt.

best wishes

things you are talking about i understand but with this you can't enter in a core HR role in a big organization, you can enter a bigger organization then yours with more into HR role then into recruitment also i want to know are you MBA - HR or related back ground.

Its better if you gradually change your role as it will be difficult for you also to handle hard core HR role initially so better you try to take more HR role in your current or next organization rather then jumping into core HR directly, also companies will take aperson who is already taking care of salary planning, Performance Appraisal, leave, payroll and many other responsibilities. you can join small bpo for this where you will taking interview, recruitments as well as HR roles
