with skills being at a shortage within our industry can agencies really look to experienced consultants returning back to work after child birth or even experienced consultants looking to work purely from home as an effective way to manage clients needs. How hard is this to do and how effective would it prove.
If you have any examples of companies who promote this then your comments will be appreciated. Also if you feel clients and candidates are just to demanding for this to be effective then please feel free to discuss. Awaiting your replies....
Hey Rajesh,
Trust things are fine at your end...
You brought in a very nice topic.... You know what Rajesh, this is an excellent concept.
Somehow, i strongly feel, that if some amount of flexibility is given to the consultants, the contribution from them towards work would definitely be much more effective.
I am aware of such a company (My previous Organization), who understands its employees need or requirements or comfort level and allows flexibility in work, which in turn helps it grow...
I have witnessed such a case. One of our colleagues was expecting and had some major complications. Because of which it was not possible for her to continue coming to office. The employer, instead of taking harsh decissions, empathised and made all the facilities available for her at her home and she was allowed to work as per her convenience.
The results were exceptional... She did so well.....
So what i wish to say is that, yes Flexibility at work can do wonders!!!...
