Thanks for your quick reply and guidance.
Can I prepare Induction/Orientation manual for new joining? I have read on internet that Induction is given in the form of Presentation. This type of Induction can not be used in my company because Ours is a small company hardly 25 employees in Head Office.
I have prepared detailed employee handbook which covers major policies and also the points you have given. Can we give this handbook in Induction to new employee?
What should I follow, Induction or Orientation?

Hello Seniors
I am a new member of the site. I am working in a IT company as an Administrator from last 5 yrs. Six months ago, my boss who is a Director, asked me to handle all HR Activities. I am not a qualified HR Professional. While working when I need any help, I gather it from here or there. Looking at current situation in the company I have very good career prospects. I have taken admission in MBA (HR).
I have prepared Employee Handbook for the company. And also some basic policies. Now I would like to prepare Orientation/Induction. But really I do not know anything about this. Can anybody help me out this?

Regarding Induction..I would like to share few points with u,
1) Give a brief Introduction about ur company Profile (history,services,achievements)
2) Provide a brief introduction about the no.of departments & services
3)Prepare the Company Policies, passwords,
4) Prepare Business Etiquette(how to behave in the organisation)
5) Prepare guidelines for Dress code(both Gents & Ladies)
6) Prepare rules & regulations for Discipline
Lets do it..
