hi everyone...

well this is a debatable topic...unfortunately, i have not only heard, but also came across many HRs... in different companies... who believe and behave in such a way....

- rude

- cold

- dry

and with an attitude which says:

"hey... I have recruited you... so I am your GOD !!"

any one else has this experience?!

I Work in Europe and while here you get managers who sometimes think that I have never come across HR who think that way.

Do you think it could be a cultural thing?

well i too hv cum across such types of HRs.

Instead of having the reputation of the most cooperative people in the Co., they were the most despised, and tht too in a very reputed corporate giant.

Dear Neil,

no, i dont think its a cultural thing.... its may be the effect of promotions and sudden growth (specially salary wise!) without enough professional maturity....

this is something to do with one's personal attitudes.... not culture....

but yes,

i agree... it might be in a lesser frequency in abroad....

thnx for sharing... can u suggest anything to make others aware on this?....

hmmm yeah may be....

unfortunately .. there are no ethics followed.... the bigger the organisation... the lesser the ethics.... i dont know why should it be this way !?... but had personal experience...

do u suggest to have a common and compulsary training on "corporate ethics".... for all levels of hierarchy.... ??
