hey pradeep,
as far as my short exerience is concerned this exit interviews are not serving any purpose and nobody really do any analysis to use these perfectly.what do you say?

How much importance is reall ygiven to exit interviews or to the feed back taken from the employees who are leavg the org ??? is there some way to track it ?? does it really serve a purpose ??

To take exit interviews is very important for any company for manpower planning, for employee satisfaction, to reduce grievances.

every HR should go for these techniques to overcome these problems.

thank you ruchi.i'm not interested to know the purpose of exit interviews dear i'm just wondering how far they are really successful in organizations and wanted to know hw this is being followed in various companies.

Hi,

Nowadays, generally organizations prefer to ask only 'Reason to quit' and if required then try few common tricks to retain that employee, never feel like spending more than 5-10 mins with the person who is going to quit the organization. Never follow the whole process of Exit Interview or they might think it is not required.
