I have one query

if we give increment to employee w.e.f 1st april so can we calculated ESIC on arrers ammount also,

If employee salary was above 10,000/- before 1st may & employee not covered under ESI

In may month we gives increment to employee w.e.f 1st april 2010 & gives arrers from 1st april 2010

so my query is can we calculated ESI on april month arrers also.
