If employee salary was above 10,000/- before 1st may & employee not covered under ESI

In may month we gives increment to employee w.e.f 1st april 2010 & gives arrers from 1st april 2010

so my query is can we calculated ESI on april month arrers also.

Thank you reply my query , but actual my question is " Professional Tax & ESIC not deducted on Reimbursement Allowances & i likely know that which that allowances.
