You have provided Good information.
As i have 1+ yr of experience in HR i am unable to understand about what is all competency mapping.can you explain me about this in brief and how to prepare competency mapping to various positions in an organisation.

Thank you for sharing the competency map excel sheet. This is indeed very helpful.
Preety, well, the mapping is very helpful for understanding an individual employees core competency with the HR stand point.
Forget the JARGON..... wht i mean is it helps to understand how a person is effective in the said field, how much is expected out of them and what is the real matrix where they fit. if they have a gap between the expectation and real time numbers then it helps to find out what are the given reasons for such a advert gap in effectiveness.
Well, there is more to it..
