Want to know how to organise "Campus Recruitment"?
For Example:
what are the important things we need to keep in mind before organising a campus recruitment?
How & which college we have to approach?
What are the nitty gritty in this kind of recruitment?
Please find the below mentioned point for your convienence:
Campus recruitment is implemented in three steps:
Step 1: Initiation
a) The requirement against the availability of campus: e.g. if engineering students are the target then May to June is the time for Campus in some places in India and if management students are the target then sep to march is the campus season.
b) once this has been figured out then you need to approach the colleges, by either research over the internet or through college directories.
c) once you are done with b) call up the TPO(Training and placement officer) fix a date for interview or you can also ask the TPO to club 3-4 campuses in one.
Step 2: Implementation
This is the implementation part, which require experience in logistic and operations. Time Management is the key. Coordination between the recruiter and the TPO has to be done efficiently.
NOTE: Before visiting the campuses be sure that written test papers and GD topics and/or what ever the process of shortlisting is required, is ready with the recruiter.
Step 3: Follow up
Follow up with the offered candidates is very important, as the opportunities are many in today dynamic and competitive world. Making sure till the candidate joins the organisation, a constant touch through email or sms or telecalling is being done, in order to motivate the candidate to Join
