What exactly EPS Means?

EPS is employees pension scheme. The EPS should not be deducted from employees salary as Employer has to contribute towards the employees pension scheme. The total contribution by employer is 12% out of which 8.33% of contribution goes to Employees pension scheme.
For detailed information, please refer Employees Provident Fund Act, 1952
