Hi Rajesh,
Most important and the foremost responsibility of an HR is to communicate a proper feedback to a candidate that too in a convincing manner. One of the HR qualities is convincing (how you convince a particular candidate to join an org. or to negotiate with the salary or giving him a negative/positive feedback).
one instance I can share with you - There was a candidate who was been selected to join a reputed product development firm, he was going through with his last round and he got no hire because of some ethics, dint followed as per the genuine rules. We convince the client and as well as the candidate as both were right as per thr own scenarios. At the end client agreed and the candidate as well to attend the rounds again, even the candidate really appreciates our job. So it's just to be fair with your own job. Try to tell the truth in a manner that he/she should understand the problem and can make him fluent on those bushy areas and come up again with new enthusiasm.

Shipra
