Hi,
This topic is definitely debatable as quite a few things are circumstance or situation based.
According to me a true HR person has to be shrewd and manage his emotions well apart from being a great psychologist.
Can be manipulative but in sync with the needs of the people and the situation.
Getting things done is not easy and hence a great motivator.
Ensure that monotony is killed and be creative/employee centric when it comes to breaking the chain of boredom or creating interest in the routine jobs.
Humor would definitely help and go along way apart from giving due & timely recognition to the members in the organisation.
Thats all from my side.
