Attrition can be said in simpler terms as no. of employees leaving the company.
Usually attrition rate is calculated in companies as follows:
The most simpliest way will be to take a headcount at the begining of the month and then at the end of the month add the new joinees.. and u have the number of the people who have attrited for the month.. what u need to do is to divide the attrition with the total headcount at the end of the month and u will get ur attrition percentage.
Like, if the opening count: 50
New joinees: 50
Attrition: 20
Closing headcount:50+50-20=80
Attrition percentage=20x50/80= 12.5%

Yeah i'll add as u said too..
Bt my confusion is hw to identify the top and talented performers in the organization without finding it in the way of seeking the help of group heads and enquiring them about the highly performing employees performance under them or else thro d collection of performance appraisal data of d employees 4 the past certain years and sorting out who got the top rating..
Is there any other different way to identify them without following the above said methods..
