Team Decision Making Vs Individual Decision Making.



Most of the people agree that team decision is better than the individual decision but many times Boss's Decision is Final and Correct.



This is a story of Akbar and Birbal.



Akbar - Birbal, We have got competent, experienced ministers but still the problems are there in our kingdom. People are not really happy. Why?. I have given freedom to take any decision to all our ministers but still the situation is not good.



Birbal - My dear king, I will tell you the reason but before that let us try one experiment.



Akbar - What is that, if it can show me the way I will definitely do that.



Birbal - I will give you two scripts you read one in tomorrow's assembly and another one in day after tomorrow's assembly



Akbar - OK



Akbar (reads first script in 1st Day of Assembly) - I believe Brinjal is the king of the vegitables because it has got crown on its head like me.



All other ministers says" Yes, Exactly, True, We are also thinking the same".



Akbar (reads second script in 2nd Day of Assembly) - I had brinjal in my dinner yesterday and today I am not feeling well. I am suffering with body pains..I believe Brinjal is not good health.



All other ministers says" Yes, Exactly, True, We are also thinking the same".



Akbar is confused and looks at Birbal for his response.

Most of the employees of any organization are really competent. They do not suggest anything against Boss's opinion because Boss wants to run his Dept/ Organization in his own way. Hence all subordinates blindly follows him.
