Introduction:

This summer, let your child discover new potentials in himself as he engages in Art, theatre and Movement.

This 2 week workshop is a bouquet of activities, designed professionally, to ensure your child enjoys as he learns about himself and the world around him. The purpose of this workshop is to :

1. Bring about self awareness

2. Promote expression of thoughts

3. Emerge as a leader

4. Shed barriers and fears

5. Enhance memory and focus

6. Build self confidence

7. Encourage creative and lateral thinking

8. Build interpersonal skills

9. Provide insight to Indian values and culture

All our sessions are facilitated by faculty renowned in the field of drama, art, movement and corporate training.





Facilitators Profile:

Ms.Hemalatha Swaminathan Has been a behaviourial trainer for over 10 years. She is a certified creative arts therapist who believes in using movement to enhance learning. Her creative movement sessions for children help them to understand their body and its expressions.

Mr. G. Krishnamurthy Passionate about theatre and literature, this busy CEO, strikes a balance between his passion and professions. His latest directorial venture “vadhavooram” brought to life the beautiful verses of “thiruvasagam”. He has a deep interest in the indian traditions and values. He believes that understanding them properly can encourage children to appreciate and practice them.

Mr. Krishna.G An engineer graduate left the IT job 4 years back to do theatre and acting, started his acting journey with Theatre group "Theatre Y". Apart from theatre he is also an entrepreneur.He has been part of various productions with different theatre groups. Enacted various roles in a production called "itsY bitsy" , "ChaddYs", "One" & "Vetty" with "Theatre Y" Performed in the HINDU Lit Fest 2013 with "Theatre Y". Also attends and conducts workshops for kids and adults on basics of acting (focusing on emotions, body language & characterization and stage

management.)

Participation Level:

Ideally for children between 8 and 14 years
