Wissen Systems Pvt Ltd is looking for an infrastructure engineer. We work with startups from across the globe as technology partners. We currently of multiple consumer facing web properties which require continuous infrastructure improvements and maintenance. Following is brief about position and other details.





Infrastructure engineer



Designing and implementing infrastructure requirements for consumer facing applications

Managing Tomcat + JBoss clusters using HAProxy or ELB

Setting up EC2 instances for auto-scaling

Designing and implementing fail-over infrastructure plan

Backups and heart-beat monitoring

Security implementation

MySQL/PostgreSQL setup and monitoring



Should have:

Clear understanding of designing and deploying JEE based applications.

Deep expertise on security monitoring

Exposure to AWS is must. Rackspace is definite plus

CentOS/Ubuntu/Fedora
