Roles & Responsibilities

• As a Senior Web Methods Developer, you will participate on project teams, doing application analysis, development and modification and provide design recommendations for developing and integrating programs per written specifications.

• You will be responsible for delivering Web methods programming solutions to meet client specific requirements related to the project.

• The individual should be proficient in application development skills for more than one technology as well as proficient in multiple design techniques and in multiple business disciplines / functions.

Technical Skills-

• webMethods 7 suite (Developer, Integration Server, Broker, Trading Networks is essential. MWS,OFI, OFP, CAF and BPM are highly desirable)

• UNIX Solaris 10

• Oracle 10G RAC (11G is desirable)

• JAVA 1.5/1.6

• XML

• Websphere MQ

• Clearcase

• Application Integration – Proficient

• Business Analysis – Proficient; experience with RUP methodology and Use case development;

• Business Applications Knowledge - Proficient

• Database Development - Proficient ; knowledge of Oracle

• Foundational Architecture Knowledge – Proficient; knowledge of Object Oriented Design

• Experience with all phases of Project life cycle

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Able to appreciate and disseminate best practices throughout the team.

• Experience of application development in a complex environment, preferably within financial services sector

• An understanding of file transfer and messaging environments.

• Experience of High Availability architecture designs in an Active-Active application model.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Excellent trouble shooting skills

• Ability to provide support and mentorship to junior team members.

• Ability to drive workloads and project forward.

• Good communication both written and verbal.

• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external teams.

• Initiative, self-motivation and a sense of urgency.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines
