HR TAKEN FOR GRANTED?
“My mail account is full…..oops that’s only because my stupid HR who keeps on sending mails to all….they do not have any other jobs sitting over..”
“God HR’s no way…they cannot be happy when people around them are satisfied with their jobs”
“HR can never think of the welfare of their employees”……..etc .etc.
I hope all of you might have faced this in one way or the other. I do face this at my workplace and for that matter in my personal life as well with the non HR professionals.
But we would be so happy to share our grievances with a fellow HR’s when there is a training session organized by any training institutes in an open house program.
When we learn HR as specialization, we feel it’s the easiest of all .We happily take exams and clear them with high scores. But when the actual job comes our way, it’s as good as learning HR again.
We were taught in our B-Schools, HR’s are people managers. They shall always think about the welfare of their employees. But what if the management of the company is not co-operative? Whenever a plan for the welfare is chalked out, the management is the greatest obstacle to get the plan passed and sanctioned.
If there is a highest attrition happening in the teams, the HR is blamed for its not so employee friendly policies. But what about the employee mangers, who almost help the employees to exchange jobs by pressurizing, not satisfactory behaviors with them.
Because it’s always said and analyzed that employee leave the organization because of their managers and not the company.
Just thought of sharing this with all of you.
