Dear Friends & Professional members,
Since I'm from IT industry, I know nothing about the hiring style/practice in Lifesciences-Bio-Pharma industry! With strong curiosity, I've been searching in newspapers, magazines & webworld, but to no avail. Since, it is not that open (not publicized in the way IT companies do), I'm still left with the same question, and I felt that internal reference is a strong mode through which resource/talent requirement is fulfilled.
Coming straight to my query, I've a Clinical Research profile (just completed Advanced Clinical Research course from ICRI, did some projects & gaining hands on experience as an Intern in a CRO). As their institute is bit slow/not aggressive for campus placement, she is eagerly looking for some opportunities to face selection interview where she can prove her potential & competence. She is good at her study. It is aware that Pharma companies or CROs do have openings in CR area but looks like the positions are closed internally through reference. Good budding professionals like her do suffer a ton, reason?, no strong network/reference.
If anyone of you can extend a helping hand in any possible way, it would be a great great big help.
Thanks, Paramananda
Someone close to me works for a Clinical Research Organization in Hyderabad. Send me the resume and I will get that forwarded for a suitable position. I can also connect the candidate you're referring to with the person I know.
Another approach / strategy that might work: You / she can collect a list of CROs in Hyderabad, find their employees on HR Link and other professional networks, and connect with them.
Best Wishes,
RK
I can give a try as well, as got few contacts at the Pharma industry. Send me the resume and let me get that forwarded to the concerned department.
Also let me know if the candidate is looking out only in Hybd or any other Metros.

Thanks Ashwini for the noble response.
Regret that I'm bit late in replying you. Yes, I would like to forward the resume to you. Please let me know your email ID, you may not like to share it in public, please share privately as a message here.
The candidate is open to any city (in order: Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, NCR).
Let me also share that their exam result is out and she scored good marks (distinction) and she is continuing to go in a Clinical trial centre (as an Intern) to gain hands on experience.
