NAVRATRI greetings to all my friends at HRLink...



This navrathri, ladies, please follow the table of colors to wear for each day in Navrathri. It changes every year and for this year, 2009, these are the colors. It is considered very auspicious to wear these colors and worship the goddess every day (evening pooja). All the men folks may share this information with the ladies at home... Believe me, it is supposed to be a very powerful one..... An old tamilian lady, who happened to be my neighbour long ago gives me this information every year. Happy to share with you all....



Day and color

Pratipradha (Saturday): Dark Green

Dvitiya (Sunday): Orange

Trutiya (Monday): White

Chaturthi (Tuesday): Red

Panchami (Wed): Blue

Shashti (Thusday): Yellow

Saptami (Friday): peacock green

Ashtami (Saturday): Parrot Green

Navami (Sunday): Purple
