Hi
I am currently working with a reputed Bank since 2 years and previously with a Shipping Company (total experience = 4 years) and I am currently pursuing PGDBA in HR from Welingkar INstitute, Mumbai will appear for 4th semester this June, 2010 wanted to know what are the chances / options for a person like me to start in HR and will this effect the package as I ahve experience in Admin/secretarial and managaing the team and operations so what is the scope.

As per my knowledge most of companies expecting more from HR those who have 4yrs exp. I am not sure you will get the same position and salary in HR.
But you told that you have good knowledge in Admin.
My suggestion better you look out for job in Admin then you have a chance to get the same designation with the good package.
If you would like to join in HR only, then you look out for job interlink with Admin and HR.
That kind of job opening wont affect your designation and salary.
