Why didn`t the media expose fraud in Satyam earlier? What would be the fall out for the Indian IT sector from this fiasco?
Don`t find fault with the media. I agree that our pink journalists should have been alert and could have kept aside their love for the market driven economy. However, there was nothing wrong in the published documents.
I am sure our IT sector will come under close scrutiny now. The Indian economy has been driven by owners run companies for the past few decades. But recently companies floated by few erudite geniuses created a big market for IT sector abroad.
But all of them quietly offloaded their stakes at a very high price to either to FIIs and public. We have to watch such companies and hope there are no more Rajus amongst them.
