Hi,
Wake up, it’s time to celebrate! Isn’t it?
What to celebrate?
Any event, big or small, that gives you joy or inner satisfaction, is worth celebrating. If you think, you have nothing to celebrate, then let me say, you are not a living person. A dead person cannot celebrate anything.
Is there any event you can celebrate now, today, this week or this month? Don’t wait long for big events such as birthdays or anniversaries. Just celebrate day-to-day events in a positive manner. You don’t need to arrange big parties to celebrate. You can celebrate small events with your close friends or family members. Even you can celebrate something yourself in your mind and heart without even knowing others.
Try to make every day a BIG day. Any apparently small event, such as satisfaction at work, a word of appreciation from boss, raise in pay, introduction to a new client, meeting an old friend, escape from some fatal accident or disease, is worth celebrating.
Last year, I suffered a severe heart attack and was taken to hospital. Upon reaching hospital I became unconscious and knew nothing what happened to me. When I opened my eyes, I found myself lying on the hospital bed with lot of heart monitoring gadgets attached to my chest and my wife standing beside me. That was the moment to celebrate because I was alive. God gave me a new life! I was celebrating that moment with tears coming out of my eyes. I looked at the face of my wife. She was also weeping with joy, the joy of seeing me alive!
We all pass through critical times in our life. When we overcome the difficulties of life, it’s time to celebrate. Celebrating something means that you are in a positive state of mind with a renewed interest in life. By celebrating something you enhance your confidence in yourself which further opens the doors of success for you. If you want to live a happy and successful life then keep on smiling and celebrating small events of life. Make it a point to celebrate something every day or at least every week!
