Today is a Sunday for some -- a time to relax, eat a big meal, sprawl on the sofa, have a few drinks with friends, and watch lots of television.

For the goal achiever, though, it is the beginning of another opportunity, another chance, the beginning of another day to do a little more to reach his goal. It is time again to push that big boulder just another inch or two as much as it will move today towards the big goal.

Today is the beginning of a new dawn, so tighten up your belt, take out your goal card, take out your legal pad, make that list of what you will do today to move yourself one step closer to your goal.

Will you let this day just slip by? Oh, no! Don't waste this day. Time flies too quickly. Every day comes, and every day goes. Make the best of this time today.

There's some commentary before the poem recital. Listen to the audio.
