Can anyone please share a pay structure having variable pay as a component

Hi Ramya,

Variable pay is the pay, which is given to the employee based on the organizations performance monthly or yearly.

For instance. In s/w industry one employee gross salary per year is 100000, in this variable pay is 100000. That means that employee gets only 900000 towards his salary. Remaining depends on performance of the organization.

Can you explain it properly. i din't get it? If variable pay is 100000.. how does it mean that employee gets only 900000 towards his salary? More than salary? Am confused...

Can anyone help me with format for fixed & variable component in salary structure.

Is variable apply's on CTC or GROSS or Take Home salary.
