Me & My challenges----A work life balance program for women



YOU are a woman, who has already learned to balance familial dependence, with that of professional independence.



· There are days when you feel that you have successfully managed the balance act.

· There are days when you feel guilty about under/ over balancing your family or work demands.

· There are days when you feel that you have lost complete balance and are hurdling towards chaos.



The Women Wellness program is designed as a âTIME OUT âspace to sit back from the day to day challenges- to explore self, be aware of self and care for self.

The program will help you to reach deep inside yourself to find the strength, understanding and the answers to the following questions



· Who am I?

· What am I doing?

· Where am I going to?

· How do I address some beliefs that I hold?

· How can I live with Confidence?-Essentials of Self Defense?

3 days program from the 13th, to 15th Feb 2009 at Bangalore.

*This is a non residential course.

· Work on beliefs one has about oneself.

Home remedies-- BODY & MIND

· Health management at home- effective, inexpensive & available.

· Facilitated by a Herbal Therapist along with recipes to health maintenance.



Yoga Therapy -- BODY & MIND

· Demonstration and theory of Yoga- Pranayama and specific Asanas by a Yoga Therapist.

· Physical problems specific for women-- PMS, Dismenoria, Menopause



Work life balance

· Creating Awareness, Interest, Desire and Action· Address feelings arising from- pursuit of efficiency at work and home

· What are the changes that I will bring about now? At home and office

· Individual 1:1 charters and goal sheets.



Self Defense

· Introduction to Self- defense

·The Different stages of attack & Defense

· Prevention & Alertness- The best Defense

· Psychological & mental preparedness· Managing Emotions- The Fight or Flight Reaction

· The Complete Sequence of an assault situation

· Vital points in Human Body

· Techniques & Tactics Against Vital Points

· Defender's Rights & Advantages Legislation





The Facilitation

The program is facilitated by 4 faculties with expertise in Psychology, Yoga Therapies , Herbal Therapies And a 2nd Degree Karate Black Belt respectively.
