When I was a little boy, I was sent to study at a day boarding school. On the eve of every Christmas and on the morning of every Christmas, we sang Christmas carols. We practiced everyday for a month or so before Christmas. Those were some of the best times. We could bunk school because we were in the choir and we felt kind of special. Also, the music and the feeling of singing together was very rewarding to the heart.



This is one such hymn that we sang as a Christmas carol. It is also considered a gospel song. In the audio, after the recital, I have also included the Elvis Presley rendition of this hymn. I am sure you will like it.
