It was the first day of my second job. As is the ritual, the HR guy took me around on a get-to-know-your-new-colleagues tour. He paraded me across departments and rattled off names that thankfully, I was not expected to remember. Then he announced "meet our IT guy Srini". And "meet the EA to the CEO, Julia". And "meet the Finance man Iyer". At once, I felt at home!
