Hi All,

I have a query.

If an employer fails to pay salaries to its employees as its under liquidation, bankruptcy or facing severe financial crunches then how do the employees get paid ? who can they go to or what means can they resort to ?

Please throw some light and share your views/opinions on this.

Thank you.

Sandeep

See, there is a SupremCourt decision on MinimumWages where if any employer has to pay minimum wages means.....even if employer declared himself/herself bankrupt, he/she can not runaway without making payments to the staff in anycondition....else inform to Labour Commissioner
